The successful completion of the practicum is required to be eligible to sit the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspector’s exam to obtain a Certificate in Public Health Inspection. Please note that ENVH 561 must be taken in order to sit the CIPHI certification exam. Please also note that ENVH 561 (Field Experience in Public Health Inspection) is not available to International students.
**ENVH 571 is a supervised research project on a public health topic that fulfills the program’s course requirements in order to graduate. Students who complete ENVH 571 typically intend to pursue a career in public health but not as a public health inspector.
